Meet Marian
Born and raised on a farm in West Wales, Marian has gone on to become a multi-award-winning business leader, investor, and board advisor.
From humble beginnings, Marian learnt values of resilience, humility and tenacity from an early age, going on to build her early career in financial services, and becoming one of the youngest leaders in the industry to earn the rare dual distinction of Chartered Insurer and Chartered Broker, with responsibility for a £58m book of business. Today, she operates at the intersection of leadership, governance and investment.
As Founder and Managing Director of Elevate BC, Marian works with senior leadership teams and boards to strengthen strategy, decision-making and culture. Her approach blends strategic rigour with practical clarity – a combination that has earned her the British Empire Medal (BEM), Inspirational Woman of the Decade, UK Mentor of the Year, and recognition as one of MSN’s Top Ten Trailblazing Entrepreneurs to Follow.
